Pair of 19th C. French Neoclassical Bronze Candelabra

A pair of French bronze candelabra from the Empire era, elaborately cast with classical motifs. Each surmounted by a female figure standing on one leg, over five candle arms with foliate-cast urn-form nozzles and gilt bobeches, on a fluted columnar standard supported on a base of lion monopodia and palmettes. Each arm suspends a chain attaching to a hook on the column.
