A large statue depicting one of the eighteen Luohan spiritual protectors, disciples of Buddha, found on the east and west walls of Chinese Buddhist temples. The bearded, robed monk is posed seated, his right hand resting on the floor, his eyes gazing downwards in a contemplative expression. Cast with fine detail to face.
